As Baptistines, we cultivate the Spirit of Peace and Justice in our ministries by listening to the movements of the Spirit in PRAYER. We heighten our AWARENESS through our participation with other coalitions having compatible values and missions. We COMMUNICATE our public witness and corporate voice by using the political and social venues available. We return to PRAYER with our visions of transforming unjust
systems in order to continue preparing the way of the Lord.
Embracing the spirit and charism of our Founder, St. Alfonso Maria Fusco, we
activily participate in promoting human dignity, reducing poverty, and supporting efforts for a sustainable global future for all generations.
The following coalitions are the avenues we are active in:
PARTNERSHIP FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE – http://www.partnershipforglobaljustice.com/
As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) at the United Nations, Partnership for Global Justices supports the United Nations work to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice and curtail climate change. Resources: Sustainable Development Goals: https:// sustainabledevelopment.un.org
We, as Baptistines, actively participate with this coalition.
CATHOLIC CLIMATE COVENANT – http://www.catholicclimatecovenant.org/
This coalition advances the mission of the Church and lifts up the moral voice of
the Catholic Church as we pray, act and advocate for the care of creation and care for the poor. We follow the TAKE ACTION SECTION of this coalition to further our
quest to aid the poor.
STOP TRAFFICKING – http://www.stopenslavement.org/
This newsletter hosted by the STOP ENSLAVEMENT web domain, serves as
a forum for exchange among religious congregations and their collaborating
Organizations:
We support this coalition by our active participation in connecting with our
Legislators via email to encourage the passage of bills protecting all who are
caught in the web of trafficking.
